.eu Academy
EURid opened the .eu Academy in early 2015, putting its 50 years of cumulative experience in the domain name system industry at the disposal of those who are eager to learn more. The initiative’s main goal is to contribute to the education of students, government officials, industry peers and registrars on the basics of the Internet, its history and how it works at a technical level as well as on marketing, administrative, security and the legal facets of a top-level domain registry business.
Along with the featured courses, EURid provides traineeship opportunities for university students and young graduates. Interested parties are encouraged to write to us by detailing the area in which they would like to gain experience and the timeframe they are available, together with a CV itemising their academic studies. EURid will design a customised programme where participants can learn and work in close cooperation with members of staff.
EURid sponsors traveling expenses associated with traineeships for university students and young graduates in the event that a traineeship takes place at one of our offices.
Lecturers and trainers vary depending on the availability of EURid staff and the course content. We can offer in-house courses and/or webinars.
The Academy’s motto ‘we'll learn more together’ is the basis of any action that we plan.
If you are interested in any of the above topics, or have further questions, please drop us a message at [email protected] or fill in the request form below. We will get back to you with a customized training programme to support your needs.
